Default Blew my MAF in half...

Well during lunchbreak i decided i was going to test out my aeroforce gauge and see how accurate the 1/4 simulator is.. I tried a few different launches then had one great run but i rolled a little and gauge read 40 sec 1/4. Thats when it all went down hill. I thought it was my trans at first but then i threw bout 5 different codes including lean and rich codes.

Ended up machining a new half out of aluminum so i could get home without limping, now my maf is much stronger lol...

Yep, happens on occasion for blow through apps with these particular MAF's... weak link is the friction weld. One shop I know of that caters specifically to vette's CNC'd an aluminum sleeve for one side of the MAF and it bolts to the other half.

ouch,
aluminum sleeve with 3 bolt places, and some sensor safe silicone and your good.

Good thing you had access to machining a new half.
