There is a lot to be read from that chart...

But first, friggin awesome with the turbo big block in a half ton swap!

500ft-lbs at 3400rpm at 2psi sounds like a lot of fun!

You never reach a steady state boost pressure, which tells me the turbine side is too big, your hot pipes are too big, or your wastegate is leaking badly. You could step down to a smaller turbo to help with that a little bit.

Looks like a ton of fun though! 650hp at 5000 is pretty sweet.

Smaller housing? I think the smallest i can get for it is a 1.00 ar
I am buying a stronger engine. Thought about front mounting after i work on the suspension and get it to hook.

Couple things, what gear did you dyno in? Did the dyno have any load put on it? If you dynoed in 4th, might try 5th. Might just have not been a long enough pull to get a cold rear mounted turbo hot enough to make good boost. How does it boost on the street? Probable like **** cus you can't keep the tires under it!

Might try what the diesel guys do to build boost on the dyno and floor it about 2200 and drag the brake to load it till it builds boost and then let it go and see what kinda numbers it makes.

Are you still deployed, or you back yet?

Well since this guy hates email and he couldnt call afghanistan he left it what he set the limiter at last time which is fine keeps me from breaking it, new motor will probably go to 6500
My next issue when getting back is getting it to hook...

8.1's are not high revving motors

Should have done it in 4th. Probably just didn't get it loaded enough. Too short of a pull.
