Updated first post with progress pics. So far got a 40mm wastgate. I got synapse bov. But kbracing suggested i not even run one due to the length and size of my charge pipe. So I plan on using a vacuum switch to make it functional and can test how it does on and off

Finishing up my exhaust because this thing is loud. Pretty much the whole 4 inch pipe to turbo is going to be mufflers. Help ensulate the exhuast to the turbo and help quiet it down. Also got a 5 inch exhuast cut out so when i run the 5 inch downpipe at the track or run it thru a 3 inch tailpipe over my airride suspension with another muffler

Is that a 4" charge pipe? I would want nothing larger than a 3", you have alot of volume with the length of charge pipes on a rear mount and keeping it to a minimum would perform better IMO. Even if so, I think its a terrible idea not to run a BOV. Also, I'm curious as to why you put the turbo so far back, keeping it closer would help with spool time and reduce the overall length/volume of the charge pipes. It would also give you more room to put whatever muffler you choose behind the turbo, I don't think I would want any muffler pre-turbo. Also, I think you should get a larger wastegate, I could see you having boost creep issues with the one you have. How much boost are you planning on running, and what kind of numbers are you expecting?

On another note, your brakes are badass and I would be willing to listen to how you made them work lol

3.5 and thats debatable at some parts. I literally took one and a half duramax exhuast pipes cut it into pieces and made it. Now after the inter cooler it goes to 4 inch to the throttle body but the mono blade and the 102 mm ls type is 4 inch so...

sssilverado forum you can find out about putting the z06 c6 6 piston brakes on your truck

Yea there are varying arguments to it, but you can't refute that spool times are going to suffer from the additional volume within the pipes. TB size doesn't matter, lots of people running 90mm's + with a silicone coupler stepping things down to 3".

We will see. This is my first do it yourself setup. It probably wont stay that way for long because i plan on building a 532 to put both of these turbos i got on. Then i will front mount those 30 psi and more rpm with a big set of heads
