Depends where and how your intake is setup. Have it up high and one of those water repelling socks and it should be fine.

but for some low end grunt in the mud radix all the way.

Honestly, if that's your only reason for doing it, I'd highly recommend against it. A properly setup turbo would out-torque anything, but I think you'd be much better off with a positive displacement blower.

If you have the meant to fab one up yourself, that would be cool. How often are you really going to go "mud-in"

personally I think Turbos are more fun to drive. Ive had both and prefer a turbo, I think there is alot more fun factor

probably once a month. i kno if i had like some kind of instruction on how to put it together and some pics i could do it. i geuss all that would determine what i do is the amount of room i hav under the hood, i dont hav the truck yet, but i just thinking about what i want to do with it. what size turbo would be good for a 4.3?

get the Magna Charger. It doesn't sound like you are looking to make silly horsepower, so the Magna Charger will suit you well.

silly horsepower, is that what its called when u want forced induction, but dont plan on using it on the track? just curious. all im looking for is what will be a better application for what planning doing, its going to be a dd.

what size turbo should i be looking at, i think at max i would want to boost 12-16 psi. at max.
