I know alot of you guys have a maggie and cam. What is the best cam for a magnacharger in a 5.3 besides a custom grind cam?

 

The LS6 cam in popular with the FI guys, I would think the Vinci "trucker" cam would be great as well, it is ground with FI in mind. however im no FI guru

 

A lot of people with Maggie run the lpe gt2-3 cam.

 

LEP has a Maggie grind that is supposed to be killer

 

LPE sells a kit GT2-3 cam, LS6 srings and recommends 7.400 pushrods?

 

Yeah. I ran patriot golds with mine and ended up using 7.350 push rods.

 

Mike - on stock heads, you should have used a longer pushrod. 7.4" minimum I'd think. If thats with the AFRs, forget I posted this.

 

how about the gt7 on a 6.0 ?

 

i made 585rwhp and 592tq @12psi with a 228-232 114lsa on my 370, and made 625-646tq on a 76mm on the same cam and motor at 14psi. luv it so much im using it im my 408 with the 88mm...will have the numbers up next week or so..

 

who makes that cam
