I think I've convinced myself that I should cog it...overdrive the **** out of it in the back so I can put a big pulley on the front for the best possible belt wrap.

FWIW, I worry about bearing side load on accessories past 8-rib. 14 rib? Geesh... maybe look into driving the charger seperately. Hell, thats what GM was gonna do. Remember the upside down truck blower pics awhile back? I still have them. Maybe work with ATI if you are not in a hurry...
14 rib on the rear pulleys...not the front I don't remember the upside down truck kit...can you send me the pics?

Aaron asked for it a couple weeks ago...you can fight him for it You can call dibs on my turbo kit though

Oh ****...I better make sure I'm gone when you get here. I don't want to wake up with a hangover and a sore ***.

If you look at the first pic you can see that GM had plans to drive the S/C seperately. But its front inlet front drive.

Take a look at the 8 bolt crank/flywheel mount... wonder if this wound up in the LS9. Cool stuff that woulda shoulda coulda hit the road.

So, I understand the method of the madness so to speak... overdrive (and cog) the back so you can run a larger pulley up front... for like you say, better wrap.

Remember this truck? Very small pulley... but what I read here on the forum the motor performed well and didn't hear anything about belt slip.

Anyway Chris should be a great project... we gotta hook up. Has Kyle been to Four Peaks?

Definitely, it's been way too long. Kyle has been to the one in Scottsdale...when he comes into town we'll have to get us all together. How have you been?

I thought you cleaned up your engine bay last time...looks like you made it worse.

On a side note, is there actually going to be a little get together in april. I need to know what weekend i need to get the spray done and installed. Anyone have a fire jacket i can borrow

Well I ordered up my exhaust today...got a pair of Magnaflow 5x8 straight through oval mufflers, 24" long, and an X pipe coming. Also added a set of 45* slant cut tips.

Going to do all stainless mandrel bent 3", duals all the way back, doing a side exit behind the right rear tire.

I asked him how much he would charge He's coming down end of April anyway, might as well put him to work when he gets here

I hope it's quiet! I don't care much about the noise as long as it all flows well.
