Forgot, someone asked about compression ratio on the engine, it's about 9.4:1.

Could you shoot a pic or two of the passanger side rear fuel rail. I'm planning on going with 75lb injectors and noticed in a post that you had a clearance issue with some injectors you had planned on using. The 75lb'ers are for running E85 which is very available around here.

Thanks
Nope I'd like to be able to run up to 18 psi at the track. I don't remember the sizes that are on there right now, will have to ask BC what they put on it. I wouldn't mind overdriving the rear a little more and being able to change the front pulley and belt to adjust the boost, but I'll have to see what my options are.

I ended up just using the injectors that Magnuson sent with the kit. I have seen a max of 82% IDC at 14 psi, so hopefully they will be good up to 18 psi like I want. I looked at the tall ones that I had before and finally decided that it would be too much of a pain in the *** to make them work unless it's absolutely necessary, so for now I'm sticking with the shorties.

Hey Chris - How does it compare to the turbo at 14 psi?

SOTP feels about the same, but I won't know until I get real numbers. Much more fun to drive though.

Cool vid chris, I was surprised to hear the whine is back though. Is that more attributed to the 2300 or the rear cog drive?

Cog drive is about 90% of it. It still has the typical blower whine when you stand on it but that goes away when not in boost.

Okay, thats what I figured. Brian's G8 was quiet as F$%* with his 1900 and was expecting the 2300 to be pretty similar.

That thing is dirty son! I would like to swap over to a TVS 2300 but I have so much invested in my second turbo setup that I have to give it another try before I throw in the towel and bend over on the TVS.

I had a nicer version of my throttle cable bracket made, and coated it with spray on bedliner, and also sprayed my intake tube. Looks a little better with everything black.
