I will try to move it after I install the new hot parts. How did you set yours up for the AFR?

I set it up so I am just reading the AFR. I didnt hook up the WOT Peak Hold. With it in just AFR mode it will turn the heater on and calibrate itself on startup each time.

I didnt hook up the wot either, but it hasnt read right since I installed it. I keep it in AFR mode also. When I first put it in it was on an open down pipe. I called autometer and they had me disconect the power to the gauge then plug it in after startup becase they said the noise from the starter can cause problems with the processer, but that didnt fix it.

Check the power lead going to the gauge and make sure it is Battery Voltage with key on and Alternator Voltage with the engine running. It needs at least 13.5 volts for the heater and then it will cycle and calibrate itself. It should register itself on startup of the engine from high to lower then give the current AFR.

it goes through the calibration on start up, but after it goes through that it just sits around 15.8 or 16.0 and will barely move down even under wide open throttle. I have pulled my sensor and put in a hand held FAST unit, and also used a sensor on a dynojet at my buddys shop to check the AFR and for some reason the Autometer isnt working right.

Send it back under warranty, it sounds like there is a problem with the gauge itself or the wiring.

The Autometer Gauges are great quality and easy to install. I just tried to match the Factory Tach in the speedo cluster.

Has anyone found an electronic version of the manual for the Autometer wideband gauges? I wanted to take a look at the book before I ordered one but I can't locate on the web.

What did you need to know about it?
