Default Ati procharger idler pulley

Installed my procharger D1SC not to long ago. The kit was used both the idler pulleys are black and have wear marks on them like grooves on the smooth surface one more than the other. Think the wear mark is made when belt slips on pulleys due to bearings starting to wear, maybe something else. Procharger has a normal whistle whine Im also hearing a sqeeking kind of noise. Changed my idler pulley and noise is still there. So leads me to believe one or both the idlers starting to go. Called procharger and they want $68 each. Took them out and they have a snap ring holding the bearings in.One spins real good others will spin but stop one has a slight grind you can bearly feel but spinning at higer rpm whit load might be louder. Removed the bearings and there made in japan by koyo #6003ru. Cant find it so far. I measued them and look to be 35mm outside 17mm bore and 10mm width. Grainger has a part number 5u495 $18.xx each or 1zgf9 $9.xx each. Maybe able to change for half of what procharger wants.

Try a search for Kamen Bearing or Bruning(?) bearing. You can get better quality bearings but are $$$$.The D1 is pretty loud, a lot more than the P1 was. I checked my idlers when they were off and seem OK but know what you mean about the noise.

I replaced the bearings in mine several years ago...got them @ Bearings & Drives...
the snap ring broke and the pulley had started walking on the bushings...
have also been thru a few sets of idlers as well...

Yeah only problem is they dont have me as original purchaser so no freebie's. The pulleys aren't in that bad shape thats why I want to replace the bearings first. I did find someone else that sell's pulley's cheaper than procharger. $59.99 instead of $76.xx.

cheaper to change the bearings. I did mine about 2 months ago. Had that same line of wear on mine. Nothing was wrong with any of the bearings but I changed one that looked a little strange. Just make sure those pullies are on tight.

This is a great replacement for the entire pulley. The larger diameter with give you more belt wrap and more importantly, it slows down the pulley speed that is killing the bearings in the first place. On top of that, these bearings are easily replaceable and available at Napa for something like $10+/-.
