Installing my oil feed for my turbo, I got a factory motor oil cooler so I can drill and tap the block off plate like most guys do, and I dont have the time to order an adapter and wait for it to get here, I seen on ls1tech some guys are just using this oil galley directly in front of the oil pump to feed there turbo, I cant see any reason why this would work for us truck guys???

The link will lead to a picture of the galley Im talking about, all I would have to do is drill and tap the plug that is normally in there. What do you guys think?

Obviously this oil won't be filtered. Is the oil from the block above the oil filter filtered?

thread size is 16 x1.5 check the oil pressure from this port and theres tons of pressure! been working perfectly fine for over a week
