Anyone make their own manual boost controller?

i did on my car. used a pipe elbow. drilled and tapped a hole concentric to one of the holes out the back side. got barb fittings and seated a ball bearing into the back side of that. threaded in a screw with a spring on the end putting pressure on the ball seating on the barb fitting.. make sense? lol

I agree. The turbonetics style seems lke the best style of the manual controllers. I picked up a used Blitz electronic Dual Boost controller and couldn't be happier. Super easy to set up and adjust the max boost pressure + it allows you to have a DD boost level and a race level at a flip of a switch.
