I'm still in for a crossmember/Ds loop when they are ready.

 

Do you able to fab a steel crossmember for 80e swap, steel drive shaft loop too. When you done with them. Id like to see pictures. Still keep eyes on ya. Im very interest for all also traction bars too. But need to know what size are you run traction bar 58 long? that where go to mount axle to frame?

 

Ok guys, I built a prototype this afternoon to show you what I have. The bars and joints are some kind of zinc coated and the rest of the parts will be painted black. These clamp to the front of the spring and pivot off of the spring clamp. They push on the back of the spring eye, so there is no binding or stress points They are complete bolt on, no drilling cutting, dropping the gas tank or anything. Should be able to install them in about and hour.

I don't like long bars, as they don't pivot on the same radius at the spring does, so as your suspension travels, it's consistently binding up and putting stress on the mounts. Plus you have to weld or bolt mounts to the frame to install them.

so what do these bars do/ help. it must be for the 2wd guys. Is it for wheels hop or traction stuff? Im awd i dont think these would help me out in any way???
