KB Racing makes nice kits. I seriously thought about getting a kit from him.

I have the Trick manifold and an ON3 76mm. The manifold is incredible and the 76mm performed very well on my friend's setup before I bought it. The only real downside is the 64mm backside obviously has some room for improvement.

What is everybody's thoughts on the wastegate location between the different kits? My truck is a 4wd and I'm up in the mountains quite often negotiating some sketchy terrain. I'm a little concerned about the wastegate being so low on the trick/KB kits. For that reason alone I'm leaning towards the On3 kit.

The redesign of the Trick kit puts them on the Trick manifold.

Heck, i'd have to completely redo my crossover if I had one of those trick manifolds. I have used on3 parts, such as their turbo, wg, and bov. I have ran some great times (not used their kit), but the only thing I wanted was a better warranty with the turbo.

Thanks Funkster. I knew the manifold was redesigned to cast piece, but I didn't know the wastegate was moved to the engine bay. I'm much more comfortable with that setup.

You could always get the entire kit without the turbo, no?

The wastegate sits up above the level of the bottom portion of the frame rails. It would not be an issue.

As far as which kit I would choose, I'd go with KB, then Trick. I'm obviously biased running one of Kyle's kit but I also personally know him and he's stand up. Also, you're getting hand built kits with KB. ON3 kit is obviously Chinese.
