does any one know if there is big gain going from 6 in long cone filter to 10 long air filter both suck from the end .turbo set up

At track run open turbo youll gain alot more

tried that i.at rose up quess hot from radiator was getting suck in that when I switch to elbow to throw it behind headlight(remove light) at track

Tim at the track loose the air filter. But keep the elbow.
You can even install a short section of 4" tubing to pull air from where your filter is now.

way back we had a customer take 4" flex tubing and route from the turbo to where the headlight was. Worked well. No hot air into the turbo.

But for DD, I'd find the biggest fitter you can fit and put it in the corner behind the headlight.
