By the numbers, ~630 to the tires with K1 6.125" h-beams. Upon recent disassemble, no apparent issues with the rods with ~30K hard boosted miles. I'm using the same rods upon reassembly and plan to make an extra 100hp and spin it to ~6800.

it is laughable to me that people even forge their bottom ends if they are making less then 700 to the wheels. it is also funny to me when company's rate their forged rods are only good to 800 hp. i called out a rep from eagle at sema this year after i asked him what his rods were good for as far as hp. he replied good to about 800 hp. i told him my stock rods held more then that and that maybe i should just get another set of stock rods , then all a sudden he said well thats what we rate them at cause their are to many idiots in the world ( in a nut shell what he said ) but that they have held over 1200hp on our test and these were h beams . a forged rod should be way stronger then a stock powder rod there for leaves my theory of you should be more worried about who is tuning your truck and running the proper fuel cause that is what kills motors more then a weak rod or piston.

The ??? was to get lookers. I am well aware what they are capable, as I preach about it all the time. I just have read, heard that H beams have a tendency to twist up if they get boosted hard. If I am going to go about building a good bottom end, I want to see who has what, has done what. I also know the tune plays a roll big time. It's sounds like a newb ??? But was more less wanting to get a idea of the census on what brand parts they are using. Being I do not want to spend a ton, I have been unable to find a I beam rod for the price I want to spend, in the stock length. So that leaves the H beams.

Bottom line, stock rods will not hold as much power as long as a good forged rod. Just cause someone made 150000 horse power on a stock rod does not mean that it's a good idea to build a motor with them.
