2004Denali, look into the PE tables. I am guessing the power enrichment function is kicking in.

those tables kick in every time you floor it. i had the same problem when i was tuning. i just tuned for 2nd gear and it ran a little rich in 1st and a little lean in 3rd but most of the run was in 2nd so i figured it was ok.

Start a thread in Tuning and post up your MAF table and scan when it happens.

That really makes sense with the dynojet vs. the dyno pak. Just goes to show that if you tune for peak power on a dynojet you will be lean and have a greater chance to blow up your engine.

My tuner say the same thing, he will not tune on the dynojet, he likes the dyno pack better. however at such high boost levels I am afraid of leaning out the #7 piston. I hear the #7 piston will lean out at high boost levels.

Thanks for your input. I just have autoenginuity scanning software and a wide band. 1st and 2nd are perfect and 3rd is rich, I guess that is better than lean.

I was thinking about it, and I remember that it was a bigger difference in the afr it was 10.0's at 17psi on the dynojet. 11.2 on the dynopack at 11psi on the dynopack. Boost levels did change though. I think I will start a new thread and compare both on the same boost level and tune.
