Is this what you have? http://www.vortechsuperchargers.com/.../fuel_fmu.html

According to Vortech (I called them) it will not work on the 03 GM's with a returnless fuel system and one is not needed at all... I wish iunderstood tuning these things better. LoL

This is correct...its a 1:1 regulator I believe. I do have the FMU that came w/ my ProCharger if you want to try it...cheaper than buying a new one..already has the lines on it for your application and it is adjustable.

My '03 has the return type fuel system with the FPR on the driver's side fuel rail. Are you saying that your '03 Avalanche has the returnless system? I think the returnless sytem was introduced on the '04 trucks.

Should be interesting to hear from others, Zippy knows for sure which models, but I believe a few '03's are return (like yourself) but most are returnless. Holty I believe is returnless..he's an '03.

Lord Aries, it depends on what ratio you need, I called vortech and they said that the one for me is a 10:1.

i went out and looked and i do have a return style fuel system, not sure why the guy at Vortech thought I had a Returnless... So, if the factory one is built into the rail would it best to install some new billet fuel rails and then go with something like the Vortech FMU? Maybe someone has pictures of one installed?

Tweeder, when you say ratio do you mean Fuel Ratio of 10:1?

P.S. Sorry for all the questions, just trying to learn this stuff so i can make some what of an informed choice on my new toys... 8-)~

I think you guys are right, but I could of sworn alot of guys were having issues with the radix and the non-return system of 2003. Hmmm. Let me do a quick search. I am probably wrong on that, cuz everything is always 99 to 03 in references. BlownChevy would certainly know as well.
