adjust fuel pressure
#1
Is there a way to up the pressure on a stock GM regulator? I seem to be a little low. I see 42 psi at idle and 58is at WOT. The manual says I should be between 55 and 62. I may go get a new regulator but it seems to work fine just a little low on the pressure.

Sounds about right actually. 58 psi at WOT anyway, I dunno where idle is supposed to be, but I wouldn't worry about it. That's for a stock fuel system anyway.
Did your STS kit come with a boost-a-pump or auxiliary pump or any fuel system modifications?

Well just FYI I went and picked up a new FPR and the pressure at idle jumped to 46 psi and went to 62 psi pretty fast under load. I think my old one was just getting lazy. Better to be safe. The psi at idle with the vacuum line disconnected was 58 psi.

Does it have the adjustment screw? When I replaced mine I didnt get any increase. I replaced the fuel filter at the same time. Maybe 42psi is all I get. Glad yours worked out.
