My dad has a 322 with a 18HP Yanmar I believe and it looks virtually the same as your diesel. I should run this across him.

Are you going to intercool it? Maybe something like an old heater core as a FMIC on the cheap?

Where did you get a turbo that small anyway?

Turbo is straight from IHI. It was spec'ed for the engine, unlike most guys that just find a "small" turbo and bolt it up to make 1psi of boost. This one should make like 10psi.

Heres the thermocouple reader and digital tachometer. Thats max rpm no load. I usually see EGT's around 600F under heavy load. I saw 900F once in the winter with a bigass 2 stage snowblower on the front. This little engine has aluminum pistions with no oil squirters underneith so if anythings going to hit the fan when I get the turbo on it will be them!

This is also a Deere 332, and they are 16hp, most think they are 18 because thats what the 318's are.

Here is a guy that has one of those ebay "smart car" turbos on his cub cadet. I heard it in person, sounds pretty sick!

That turbo is like a novelty item for boost bastards. Put it in your house on a shelf next to your model cars.
Put that bad boy on a go-cart with a really loud BOV.
