I just noticed that I do not have the water pump stem for the relocation of the upper hose that comes with whipples. I bought the kit used so no tellin where it ended up. What are my options for getting one, would cutting my stock one work even though it would not have the lip on the top edge?

IMO i wouldn't fab anything up...just get the right part!...

I just tig welded a full radius 1 1/2 stainless elbow on top.Then welded the ribbed side onto the other side of the elbow.Give me you email and I'll send you some pics.

 

When I installed one we just gently turned the pipe 90 degrees with a pipe wrench. Then shorted the hose, worked perfect.

 

I like that idea, but knowing my luck the stupid thing will start leaking. I might give that a try first and go from there. Thanks for all the help guys!!

 

Do any of you guys know what amount of oil it holds, mine does not have the window to view it.
