Default 90mm throttle body mod

thinking about doing the 90mm throttle body and j tube mod for the radix. I found an ssr throttle body, should I get this one or try to find one from a corvette? Is there any difference?

If 90mm they are the same. Believe early SSR's came with 78mm though?

They are different. Get the LS2 Vette TB. Vette is equal radius for the full circumference (full 90mm diameter all the way around). SSR has a smaller radius on 1/2.

Does the 90mm TB work on the 05's with the changeover kit (harness adaptor and TAC) as supplied by Richard at West Coast? One thing is for certain... it does not on the 06's. I have the entire setup sitting on my workbench because it will not work. There are folks researching a PCM table (tune) based fix... amongst other potenital electronic solutions. I am also gathering information on a potential solution. I suspect with SEMA coming up next week... there probably is alot of partying already going on in Vegas and will safely assume any potential solution in progress will not even be touched until after SEMA.

oh... thats just a minor problem. I cannot go WOT without 3 TPS codes popping and motor immediately going to reduced power mode. The 90mm kit was on my truck just long enough to attempt some dyno tuning. Somebody will get it figured out ... just no firm date yet.
