IMO, order the blower with a tuner from BlownChevy and call it a day. I had a Livernois' turbo kit in mind... I had Kenne Bell's illustrious GENIII truck kit in mind. NONE... I repeat NONE came through for me. I had $5000+ CASH IN HAND! It appears as though if the manu doesn't want to answer their phone... or pull a kit because, apparantly the unofficial word is, a few bitches is complaining they can't change spark plugs and then tell me "it will be a few more weeks"... screw them.
When a DISTRIBUTOR has a kit ON THE SHELF ready to load in the back of your truck... what does that say to the consumer? What did it tell me? It told me that, in many ways, I was dealing with a manu that has their **** together. I guess it depends on what you ultimately expect as far as the money you are spending versus enjoyment. My truck is a daily driver... and although I do experiment... my expectation has not changed and I need to remember the fact that whatever I am screwing with needs to drive me to work reliably everyday.

As I get off my soap box... just some thoughts...

Best of luck... you can't go wrong with a Magnuson. And the guys here, including BlownChevy, can help you make the most power out of your investment.

Peace

Bill

Cool... tax season is around the corner... time for some nut bustin

My point is that customer service, IMO is priority #1, and I feel that it doesn't get discussed enough. That IS part of the sale... I hope that commenting on it adds VALUE to an investment in enjoyment!

I agree, which leads me back to my older statement, "Why dont you guys sell a blower kit for us 8.1L guys?" LOL.....i was ready to call you guys back in January cause I heard such good things..... There has to be a demand for them otherwise KB and Whipple wouldnt sell them. Dont get me wrong, I am very satisfied with my blower, but it definately was not an "Out of the box" kit. Granddad just bought a 2004 1500 RCLB with the 4.8L in it. Im trying to lean on him a little to get the radix, I told him i would install it for free, but he isnt budging yet..

I liked the radix so much I may even consider an mp122 instead of the D1SC for my 408. I don't know too much about the mp122 though.

What do you guys think?
