No its deff not april fools, lol. That is kinda weird its april first tho.

Truck has the 8.6 rear with a full Detroit and 456 gears.

Congrats. Now that's putting down some power with a 5.3L. Parish did it with his 5.3L in the Fairmont, you just did it with a better 5.3L. I hear it even beats your daily driver.

It looks to me like it's only making about 679 in the video.

Good numbers, but being the anti-meth guy around here, and anti-race gas, I'm always curious what any of these big HP setups will do on 93 octane.

My old 6.0L put down 712HP corrected on 91 octaine with no meth. That was @13~14psi.

I plan on running it in the next month or two at famoso or sac. Im sure the extra power will just break the trans or G80 as soon as I get there Every time I bring something down there it always breaks the rear end or trans.

I think the number could have been made on pump alone. Just didn't think it was safe is all. I am a believer in good fuel!!!!!

We have done 650+ in pump gas 6l and under stuff, I just don't think its worth the risk. You never know what you are actually getting out of the pump around here. For Steve a mix works good and it is very, very cheap insurance for his stock engine.
