I recommend take your gate vent and rotate it so the opening is aim downward.

Nice clean install.

The hose is running downward. One of the pic make it look like it run. But it pointing down to keep water out. . Thanks about the clean install reply.

pretty standard right there. That heat sheild is the way. LOL Adding wrap also made the pipe a tad thicker. Nice wrapping.

I made/installed a check valve coming off the intake, then goes to a oil catch can then to the valve cover. One of my pic has the can.
