Went to the track and it suck!!!! Spinning, spinning and I lost 2lb of boost some place. When the pipe blew out the turbo, when changed spring in wastegate to get boost back. But still got some stuff to check about the boost thing. Oh and went 18lb of boost one time and when lean out 14 air fuel but let out hopefully in time not to hurt anything. Engine sounds good on the way home. Soooo. Went the turbo hotside comes off I will do a leak down test to make sure all is ok. Sorry for the suck *** post but you can't have a great run all the time.

fueling is pretty linear. Why don't you set it up so it just gets rich if it over boosts?

I should and will. But haven't But I did check the engine out a little today. Checked out the blowby of the engine it look great. Drove it too. Running awesome. I will still do a leak down because I have ran the **** out of it many times.

Really nice build. Can't wait to get mine going.

Did you ever log back pressure readings with the current turbo setup?

Just curious why you're going with a larger turbo? Are you seeing boost drop off or your AIT's getting pretty high? 80mm BW flow 120 lbs/hr @ 62% Eff. I've personally seen support over 1000whp on a 5.0L with the T4 housing. Not saying your not making the right move. That turbo supports 40+ psi on the compressor. Your engine at 100% VE 6.2L requires 125 lbs/hr @ 25psi @ 6500 rpm. Are you going bigger than that? Most VE's i've seen on LS1 tech and dyno graphs are in the 84~95% VE depending on the head, intake and cam.

My back pressure is getting into the 2.1 at 15lb but still making hp. So a bigger and more eff exhaust housing and wheel is the ticket for me.
