Finished up the last 4 pistons and rings Check deck height and it's .002 out. All is good. 6.2 turbo build-img_1122.jpg

Engine going great rod bolts stretched. Pistons are in and Heads are needing cut to drop 3cc . 6.2 turbo build-photo04222134.jpg

I have a03 Chevy Tahoe and want a ls3 longblock turbo charged do you think it will fit and what should I look out for if no 6.3 6.2 it will be a 5.5 ls3 out of the new c5 corvette power that I want is 675 hp and 655 tq what's your thoughts

A 6.2 will fit and making power with a turbo kit is easy. First you will need some good pistons and rod to be safe at 650rwhp, stock heads are ok, small cam and a trick turbo kit.

Shouldn't you measure the deck height on the tallest part of the piston instead of inside the dish?

I did check it top and bottom. I was just showing the reading of the center with the dish subtracted.

Degreed the cam tonight and finishing up the short block tomorrow. Also got my powder coated timing cover and valve cover.
