Default 6.0 turbo sizing

I recently finished my 6.0 swap and am enjoying it, a lot more power then my old 4.8. I originally was going to turbo the 4.8 but got a good deal on this 6.0., $500 has 80k miles.

I'm looking for a turbo that spools around 2000-2500rpms since I do some towing. What size housing, turbine, compressor should I look at ? Or anyone have a link to specs for one? I'm only looking to go 6psi, maybe10psi.

With those requirements I'd recommend a box stock s366. Lots of people will recommend larger but that turbo will do the job you've mentioned.

Why not a blower if you only want 10psi?

I didn't think of a blower honestly. I've never used one. I'll look into a s366 turbo. Thanks

Yeah honestly if you plan on using your truck more for a truck than performance go with a blower, so much simpler and more torque instantly. I wish I went with a whipple

hmmm. good to know. I was talking to a friend of mine, and he has a few turbos lying around, most of them sound small but the ones I listed below caught my eye.
how would those work when paired with the 6.0? Any advantage to going twins vs single turbo? He said I was more then welcome to try any of them out.

1st pair (has 2) -
Compressor Trim: 59
Compressor A/R: .70
Compressor Inducer: 56
Turbine Trim: 62
Turbine A/R: 0.84
Turbine Inducer: 73
3.25" V-band downpipe

2nd pair (has 2) -
Compressor Trim: 55
Compressor A/R: 0.50
Compressor Inducer: 50.5
Turbine Trim: 73
Turbine A/R: 0.63
Turbine Inducer: 65.5
5 bolt downpipe flange

3rd turbo (single) -
Compressor Trim: 69
Compressor A/R: 0.66
Compressor Inducer: 68.7
Turbine Trim: 92
Turbine A/R: 1.05
Turbine Inducer: 87.4
3.5" Vband downpipe

The third one would probably work the best. Single is easier and cheaper than twins, but doesn't look as cool I suppose.

Any idea how to find out when it would spool up, or is that different for every application? Id like to stick with a single vs twins, just more piping and more to fit under the hood.
