I just got my truck 2002 SWB Chevy with 150 thousand on it Nice clean truck. I was thinking of putting a 6.0 in it but thinking of going with the 5.3. The truck will be just to play with on the most part but will need to do some pulling for far away shows. I am going to put a Magna Charger on it and maybe a cam upgrade. Header? Better exhaust. Some wheels and that is about it as I do not want a show truck. Something to pull the 4 wheelers around and pull junk in to work on. I know the trans will have to go and a 4L80e put in. SO what do you guys think go with the 5.3 or the 6.0

 

6.0 so you wont regret it later, keep your eye out for them, you can find lq4's and lq9's for very reasonable prices
