I love digital gauges. I want to know exactly what # it is, not a around # you get with regular analog needle sweep gauges.

Very nice setup. I love the look on the mustang 5.0 guys after a run when they will not look your way and they reach the stop light and granny it or just turn right and drive off...tail tucked...lol

Glad to hear you are having so much luck with the 6l80...

my 11 6.2 with stage 5 trick setup ate the transmission up in two weeks after install and tune..LOL
600+rwhp and stock 6l80 are not a good combo....we upgraded to a 6l90 and it seems to be much tougher...

You get much vibration at the high speeds? I have a custom aftermarket driveshaft and I still get a little noise/vibration between 110 and 115 ...

Your engine tuner tuned your 6L80 trans or you had one from a trans shop?

Was tuned by engine builder using a trans shop he works with...they have many 6l80s running , many 6l90s running. The 6l80s seem to hold up ok until about 550rwhp and above...then its a matter of time. They tuned the 6l90 I have now and it runs awesome ...with same 3300 stall fti converter as before...just seems to be really good.
I think i had a huge part in my 6l80 dying so quickly..back when I had only cai. long tubes and a tune I had them put in an fti converter, and thinking I would save a couple hundred bucks I went with a single disk converter. Well it started making crazy noises one day. We changed the filter and it was all clogged up wth gunk. Took out the converter (all disk material was totally worn out) and had them build me a triple disk...
Ever since that I think it hurt the (6l80) tranny with all the converter disk parts in the fluid...it still lasted like 20k miles after that incident..but adding 200rwhp did not help.

So now the 6l90 with triple disk is running strong...keeping fingers crossed..Im going to go from 10 lbs to 15lbs soon and hoping 700+ rwhp will not hurt the 6l90...

That adds some clarity to the situation, the 6L80 is a very durable transmission but is getting a bad rap due to all the facts not being presented on the failures that have accured.
