Pretty sure the core supports are taller as is the radiator and intercooler (Dmax). I could be wrong, but i seem to remember a few guys making the Dmax intercooler swap having to cut them to fit because of hood clearance. Either way, that will be the least of his problems. Cant wait till this swap starts up....should be good reading.

Where is that little smilley that rubbing one out!
You need to do two motors. Push the first one to limits to see where other need to stop. then just build parts for the trucks. I think tierod has abused them the most.
If it will live whippled and i could do a rear mount turbo into the whipple!
That would probably sling parts.

Nice project! I honestly think any F/I will be plenty, maybe too much. I have a 8.1 dually with 161k on it, finally changed the plugs at 120k, it runs like a champ. I've been thinking about an 8.1 in a big car, and I was just gonna throw a cam in it. It already makes stupid torque and plenty of HP
