well i have a 2001 Z71 ext cab black got about 155k on the od. and im wanting to add a turbo charger i think. im on my laptop but i dont have the site. but i had found a turbo. for like 600$ new it hanlded up to like 850h/p i dont think ill get that high. but i think it whould be a neat experiance to turbo my 5.3.

maybe some exhaust and a tune

ive also been giving alot of thought of getting a 5.3 and going in my 82 swb. and doing all kinds of stuff.

but im thinkin for right now i whould see what it takes to turbo the 01. and i think it whould be fun for some reason mustangs pick on me lol

Don't get the wrong idea from the site you found... $600 will probably buy the turbo alone. Your gonna need to pull another $4-5K out for all the other supporting mods...

 

I would say keep the truck and turbo it, but dont be fooled by the price of just that turbo alone, piecing together a whole kit will be a lot more money than you expect.
