I am taking it real easy to break the gears in, heat cycle bla bla bla, but the leave from a dead stop is like 40% better if not 50% even though it's only about a 20% gear reduction...it needed it. With the 20's and 4.10's now it's geared like an SS Silv or a TBSS...big advantage! Truck runs great; now to break in and go back to the good guys at TRTTurbo! Times coming soon.

OK, if I get enough miles on the truck this week I want to try and go back to Kennedale (Texas Raceway) maybe on Friday. I'm curious to see how much improvement the gears made, even though the converter is still too tight to leave very hard. I am dropping the truck off at trtturbo probably Monday for the new converter, more boost and dyno numbers. Any opinions on how much boost w/o meth?

W/out meth I would say no more than 8 psi since there is no safety. That said though, chpspecial is boosting his engine to 12 without any meth and his engine is doing strong. I wouldn't suggest much past that though.
