5.3 with ls6 cam + radix?
#1
Does anyone have any experience with this combo? I have a 5.3 with the ls6 cam, rods and springs and I would like to add a radix supercharger later on. I know the ls6 cam picks up the top end, how will the supercharger add to the bottom with the cam?

Great combo and great gas mileage too. Mine was sts and ls6 cam. pulled great to 6400. Look up Trever1t. He had a very similar cam with Radix with a Lingenfelter GT2 I think. Both of us ran 7s in the 1/8 on low boost and pump. May need better springs with boost cause it tries to hold the valves open. Best of luck to you!

Well I run a 04 SSR on the weekends and a Daily driver for about 4 years, 06-10, A brick at 5200 pounds with me in it, 5.3 a Maggie about 8-10 pounds of boost all stock other than Comp beehive springs and 1.85 rockers, Headers and a converter, Would blow the tires off and on a good day it run 12.78 in the 1/4 and got about 21 mpg on pump gas

Thanks Z06ted! My truck won't be built for the track, its more of an offroad/recovery/chase truck. It weighs 6,000 lbs. and i haven't caged it yet. Loaded I think it will be around 7,000 lbs. I just want to nake sure I have enough power to pull a dead truck through the deep stuff then tow it home.
And I only plan on running 5 or 6 pounds of boost, would I still need new springs?

Double-L: if I could get my brick to perform like that I would be estatic! Especially the 21 mpg part. I'm averaging 9 mpg mixed with my stock 350. Hoping to get to 14-15 after the swap, and hopefully more with the charger
