What springs did you have in when you installed the cam? My whole cam was whipped out. I get you have to run an oil with a lot of zinc and install light spring for break in for comp cams. I think it's something new they just added to the install instruction. It says not to install the inner spring of dual springs for break in and run the engine at 2000-2500rpm for thirty minutes.

That is for flat tappet cams not hyd roller cams. Roller cams don't need a break in but still not a bad idea to run at 2-2500 rpm for 10-15 min to get oil up on the rollers. Also can't go wrong with the zink. If roller cam takes a

Turned out to be a damn crack in my manifold.
