Apparently my VCM on my 04 will not support a 3 bar OS. So what are my options around this? I want to run a 3 bar OS and sensor but don't know exactly how to do it. I would rather keep the DBW if at all possible. Thanks guys

 

Thats weird... What tuning software are you using?

 

hptuners. When my roommate first tried it wouldn't work for some reason so I haven't tried again since Let me try real quick lol

 

I guess I may be able to. I cant really check right now bc Im 3 hrs away from home. I wont be able to try till next weekend. So should I be able to with no problem?

 

I had 3 bar support on my 06

 

My 04 had 3 bar support...as did my 99 and 02 pcms

 

haha ok great! I cant remember exactly why we couldn't do it bc it's been so long since I tried. I think I even remember us emailing Bill@hptuners and he said certain computers cant. But Ill try. I opened my editor and under the OS section it shows 3 bar speed density and not applied, so I guess I can do it. It says I have to do a write complete before it allows me to click on it, so after I do a write complete I shouldn't have a problem right? Can I just copy and paste my 2 bar VE right over?
