JE 2618 here, has a little noise but not bad. I thought it was a better alloy, but I think it depends on who made it.

CP 2618 pistons in my stroker. They're quieter than the factory pistons, in fact they are dead quiet even below freezing at startup.

Are you running an air filter?

Mine are Diamond 2618 alloy, set up at .0045-.0051 clearance and have always sounded terrible.

Yes I'm running a air filter. Mine has been quite and set up at .0040 for wall to piston clearance.

Thats tight for a 2618 piston and prob why they are scuffing. If you gave it a hard high boost beasting it would could have some black death.
