LSXHawk are you running a stock maf, Breakout, what map sensor config?
stock maf. My cold air kit is 4inch. I’m using a 2.5 bar map. It’s the one u can buy from lsa conversions store.

sorry for what lol. I think it’s funny. The only thing that isn’t funny is now I gotta switch th motor but at least I’m able to do it myself. I knew I was pushing the motor past it’s limits. So this happening isn’t a surprise. Now it’s time for a built 6.2

Exactly I bought my crate LT1 once we started pushing my 5.3L. I thought it would have let go long ago. But it is still here. I'm now thinking just build my 5.3 over a weekend and sell of the crate. Let us in one the build details......

Curious what could've happened here. LT 5.3's have been pushed into the 850 range although with turbo and 700 with PC. Actually there is one in the Mid east running mid 9's I think. Could it have detonated due to a fuel issue or was it like you said pushed it too hard such as maybe timing and such? Want to know why a rod broke so I don't do it too of course since I'm PD. Thanks for any info and look forward to seeing this grow!

Did you happen to be logging any data when it broke?
