Default 2007 TrailBlazer SS MaganCharger Installation

The new toy is a TrailBlazer SS, which has the same LS2 and a 4L70E transmission with the 14 Bolt Rear Axle and 4.10 Gears. Everything with the installation is the same with the engine but the accessories for the kit require alot more work and time then with the SSR. I hope you enjoy the pictures and writeup.

I dropped it off at Magnuson for the 2007 Calibrations that are needed for some kits that are out there.

Here I have done all the preparation work including the wiring and trimming of the front support. I set the wiring up in the tubing for now and organized it so it will be easy to later do the heat shrink tubing. Enjoy the pictures. Thanks!!

Front Dis-Assembly:

Wiring all separated, wrapped and organized by where it goes:

I went ahead and pulled the intake and changed the plugs to the NGK TR6 (2 steps colder then stock) gapped at .035. I removed the bracket bolt from the rear of the valley and relocated the transmission vent that was attached to the bracket.

I was taking my time being just a little **** with everything. I relocated the Intercooler Reservoir to in front of the Battery, and finished the fit of everything for the Coil Covers.

The Bracket for the '06 Water Pump/Belt Tensioner works with the '07, you just have to cut the tab off as below and DO NOT CUT THE WATER PUMP OUTLET!

I dropped it off at Magnuson on Wednesday for the 07 Calibrations. When it is done up there I will pull the transmission and start the build. I have the below parts ready to into the 4L70:

1) PTGM55HSX Torque converter custom stalled to application (2600-2800), fully tig reinforced and improved sprag springs used, and with anti balloon plate for NOS/Supercharger
2) SPX Beast Sun Shell
3) Input drum sleeve and piston to help prevent breakage in the spline area
4) Trans-Go 4L60E-2 Shift kit, includes Boost valve and sleeve
5) Borg Warner High Energy 2/4 Band( best spring steel and band anchor ends of anything out there)
6) Sonnax Billet 2nd gear servo
7) Sonnax Billet 4th gear servo
8) Raybestos 3/4 Z pack
9) Master Rebuild kit with clutches, seals, rings, contains all OE quality seals, rings , gaskets and clutches.
10) Reverse input drum machined to be sure it is square and concentric and the band area is even
11) Billet pump vane rings

The adapters are same as the ones that were used on the SSR kits to adapt the LS2 Harness to the SVO Injectors.
