Default 2000 Escalade and whipple supercharger

Hello all,

I purchased a 00 escalade with a whipple charger. The thing seems to be running weak and good at times it fluctuates. I am not sure what is going on. When I try to launch it it actually bogs off the line. What kind of improvements can I do or preventative maintenance to get this thing running good. I am looking into bringing it in to a shop and have it looked at but I am not sure if I want to fork up the money just yet until I can narrow out things. Any pointers on where to start would be great. Thanks in advance.

-Jay

Best thing to do first is find someone with tuning software capabilities and scan the truck under different conditions (driving, idling, wide open throttle, etc.) and that way you will be able to tell if everything is "OK". Do you know any local shops that can help you? They will be able to tell you if the truck has KR, lean/rich, what is going on, etc. They can probably make it a little faster if there is room in the tune. Also, just keep in mind it is a 5,500lb brick on wheels. If they find out you have KR, or fueling issues, etc, then you can start there.

Nice thanks! I am going to look into that we have a couple of performance shops in town.
