I put a Maggie on a 2013 Denali and felt like it was a turd. It was on the magnuson tune also.

Hard to beat the simple, clean and reliability of a whipple. I love my turbo but it'd be a toss up between the two on pricing. Are you looking for 12s 11s... 500 600 wheel?

I guess I don't care what it runs. I'm addicted to making more power and really can't ever leave anything alone or stock.

Id do a big whipple, nice exhaust and good tuning. Should be a real nice setup that makes plenty of power.

We did a single turbo on the 5.3.
But the 6.2 needs a larger single to play ball.
Fitment is very tight in the new trucks.
Wires, hoses, amazing what's in the way.

Put a TVS2300 on it and pulley down until you have what you want power wise. If you want more air than a 2.3L blower can push, go with the bigger 2.9L Whipple. You'll need tranny upgrades at that point.

You guys that complained about the Maggie being a turd do realize that a pulley swap is easy and inexpensive. You might be emissions compliant with the Maggie too. At least you might be able to get the sticker to make it look legit. 9.5 psi on my LS3 yields 660+rwhp/615 rwt. Probably enough to turn a stock 8 speed into scrap.

I'm not sure what the longevity is of the 8 speed? Maybe its the tunes on the two I installed and drove??

Iirc it has a higher torque rating than a 6l80 or a 4l80 and we know what a badass even a stock 4l80 is. It also has some great upgrades from what I understand over the 6l80. Guess we will see.

Yeah, an 8 speed with 4L80 strength would get my attention. A 6.2L direct injected motor with a bullet proof 8 speed tranny behind it would be ****
