112 to 122

Ordering the upgrade today. Tracks dont open around here for another month. I believe with proper tuning and such this would give around an additional 75 fwhp. maybe .2-.3 at the track we'll see.

Was planning on upgrading but for the money and time and additional tunning... 75hp wet nitrous shot will net much better gains.... "*Goatchs" did the swap and is unhappy with price vs. results. if I were to do it again I would try to fit a front inlet rear drive.... will net lower iat. change rear pulley with no front belt slip.

I ran a 13.4 with a Lingenfelter GT-7 cam, shorty headers, Meth, and the 5.3. Ideal conditions though. 68 degrees extremely high pressure front. I never raced the 5.7 I had or the 383. The 5.7 was noisy and a faulty GMPP lifter took out the cam bearings in the 383. I'm hoping to run high 12's w/o meth now. Poss a 4.10 gear change in the future also.

Forgot about the 90 mm question. It let me run about 2 degrees additional timing on the top end due to lower IAT's. I would recommend getting a 90 for the 112 and definetly the 122. It really wakes these up with proper tuning.
