11.3 would be even better, my secret goal is really go to 10.9 with the Mercury. I don't have to get a Magnacharger, but I figured a Procharger would need to buzz some rpms and need a big converter to work in a heavy car.

So what combo would you guys reccomend for 10.9? I'm thinking would need 550rwhp or so?

I've had some stuff in the past that was quick so I'm not unfamiliar with getting light cars into the 9's and 10's but am unsure of something in the 4200-4400 lb range.

The car currently has a GM frame, SBC crate engine and TH350 and it's probably somewhere in the 15's right now I think.

A Procharger wouldn't need a big converter or to be buzzed high to pull it off. They can be alot more work with the piping and stuff though. A car like that I'm guessing is more of a cruiser that you want to be able to take to the track on occasion. Personally I'd shoot for a TVS2300, but a TVS1900 will do the job. I would however keep the compression in the 9.5:1 range or higher to keep torque up and make more power with less boost.

That car is going to look awsome busting out an 11 second pass or better. Nobody is going to expect that. Hope you achieve your goal. Keep us posted!

Yes. Boost only. The nos was for a certain lightning that was squeezing a 150 shot on top of a decent amount of boost. I squeezed a 50 shot & edged him out by about 2 feet, but only because i cut a better light.
That was a long awaited match up Chevy vs. Ford & the Chevy got the win
