looking to make more power with my stock truck. it is a 2004 gmc sierra 3/4 ton hd. big truck but i moves pretty good right now just not good enough. it has 4:10 gears but i want to put some bolt ons on it. dont really want to open the engine. im not sure but i think it has the 345 horse lq9? any help would be appreciated. would a different comp. tune make a difference? thanks, shawn

 

I Think U Have The Lq4 300 Hp-but I Recently Ordered A Magnacharger For My Little 4.8.thats The Way To Go Man If U Dont Want To Open That Engine.if Your Interested In A Charger,talk To Joe From Left Coast 32(sponsor On Right Side Of Screen)he Will Help You Wake That Truck Up.

 

For dependability use the Magnacharger get ya some Long tube headers and cai the trans is gonna need a shift kit and servos that will strengthen it up a bit.

 

He has the 2500 HD so it will have a 4L80e and big rear axle. Great starting platform!
Radix, LT headers, cam, CAI and a tune should be good for 160+hp and be very reliable too.

 

I think the Denali was the only one with the LQ9 in the GMC line-up but I may be mistaken. Both the LQ9 and LQ4 are great engines. Feel free to call anytime with questions on the MagnaCharger.
