to race you must be able to travel.
trust me this is a close race for me.
I usually drive 12 hours or longer to go to our supermodified races. and thats pulling a 42 foot race car trailer. hell i drove for 32 hours straight driving to Tracey California. now talk about a long haul
I know its not the same racing but you get my point.
so i am jumping all over it.
its also a little diffrent than just going to the track and running the truck

UHHHH....... Dude, we are talking about the 2nd annual LS1Tech Spring Break Shootout. There will be probably 60+ cars and trucks there. This is a drag racing event, not a group get together. This is an event sponsored by the site and it's sponsors. People are coming in from all over the US for this. That's why we are not meeting in Houston. The track in San Antonio is all ours for the day and it is an organized event!

last year's event (except the rain) was a helluva deal, awesome racing, great weather after the rain cleared up, and tons of cool people

Waiting on sponsor reply.....

Then I'll open up the prepay flood gates.

Someone asked about Houston vs San Antonio. HRP costs about $10,000 to rent out, San Antonio costs about $4500 to rent out.

From Laporte, the track is only about 2 hours away. From downtown Houston I can make it to the track in about 1 hr 40 minutes. Its about 20 minutes before San Antonio, off of I-10
