There are over 500,000 earth quakes every year and a very small percent cause damage.

I told my mom about it today and she said "omg the world is just going to open up and swallow us whole".

 

Mom should have experienced the Northridge quake in the mid-90's.

 

or the 7.1 I went through when I had only been in CA for a week after going through Hurricane Hugo just 30 days earlier...

 

Yeah we are in Delaware where dangerous happens but beach erosion's. Once and a while we will get a hurricane.
