Absolutely.

Spectators are $10, and under a certain age, kids are free...no idea what that age limit is though.

I'd love to see what my truck runs, but it's much easier to get my racing fix with the car... Maybe one day...

Well...last year with I think I read, a beat up engine, smaller cam, and weak valvesprings he went 8.35@167 or so...I'd imagine with all the issues squared away, it'll easily go 7's this year....on drag radials.

He made some test runs with the new combo the other day.
According to Shawn @ Va Speed:

he is still running the fi98x turbo, car went 5.50 @ 136 on the last test hit,
it will run 5.0's at 145 when he gets all the bugs worked out.
and that is EIGHTH MILE numbers he's quoting, whether it's 136 or 145 MPH, that is flying...

Exclamation

FINAL UPDATE

Today is "official" last day for sales, and only via PayPal.

I think the plan is to sell spots through the weekend, but if you're sure you are going, I'd grab a spot today and be done with it.

There "may" be some available at the gate, but they'll probably be $75 each and very limited.

I do know that no more are offered via check or money order due to time constraints with sending the tickets out to us.

So far we are at less than 80 cars and will probably top out at 100, which is much less than the usual 150, so it'll be pretty much unlimited racing.

How did you do today?

I saw one pass, but never saw you in the pits. My car was running SLOW , and traction was lacking for me. It was damn HOT
