T~ It needs a convertor..... BAD.......Then you can run a 224/224 cam and make some real power...........njust a thought

 

Matt, were you down there today? All I told Don was to get it to 400rwtq; not interested in a huge HP, high RPM build. Just looking for low to mid torque with the ability to spray it (hence those AFR heads). As for the converter, I figure with a big torque motor, it'll roach the tranny within a few months and Keith could do the whole thing w/converter then.

We'll see. I agree that a converter will 100% wake up this truck or any truck.Then you can run a bigger Cam that make more power everywhere

Stock converters really limit Cam sizes due to the idle speed needed with a decent Cam.
