wasn't my fault....... all 07 classics 2wd with manual trannys were built, in one week. no more 07 classics will be built that way. either they decided no v8 trucks and changed the order, or someone fucked up the order. Either way, no 07 dot orange v8 5spd for ken. sorry brother........ i suck.

unfuckingbelievable!
They gotta find you one! You have a P&S (contract), don't you? If the P&S is written correctly, as you expect it to be, game over you win. If so, it's the houses' reponsibility to deliver your truck. Don't allow them to refund your deposit until you've read that contract. Also, if the sale is written properly, Jake's absolved; not his fault it was ordered wrong.

PS If GM never built ant V8, manual, 2wd's, you should have been given an opportunity to either break the contract or order another vehicle. That's IF they never built ANY.

Sorry to hear man....

You could always buy a Reg Cab Dodge Ram with a 4.7 and a 6speed manual with 3.92 gears in it etc...

I think to get a 4.8 5 speed you may have to jump up a few trim levels... have you tried to build it on www.chevrolet.com to see what you can come up with?

See if your friend above can do a dealer search for one that meets your criteria. And then do a dealer exchange.. That might be a good option for you. He can search different dealers inventory or just plug in what you are looking for and the results will let him know what dealer has what and where the dealer is lcoated (often times in other states) etc...

Good luck...

Ken you mentioned doing a v-8 swap in the v-6 truck it's probably easier to do a MT swap in a v-8 auto truck. But thats my .02
