So how did your friend do today up at Capitol Tim? It was a nice day to race.

 

It was a fair day weather wise, the track was a little cold and the 10.5 Outlaw cars had some trouble hooking. My boy with the Chevelle (not an Outlaw 10.5 car) was hoping for a 9.99 and managaed a 10.11 as his best, but was still fairly happy. They didn't finish the Outlaw 10.5 program cuz it started drizzling. I was home eating ham and watching football by 4:00, so that was cool. There were about 6 Mercury Marauders there....kinda like a forum meet for the guys like we did. One of them went 11.79!!! with a Vortech, and the rest were in the 13's pretty easily. The guy I was talking to had cams in his and a forged bottom end and ran 12.94 as his best for the day. He said Santa Clause was bringing him a blower, which should put him at around 11.50's
Needless to say, when I got home I was looking at them on Ebay
I wouldn't mind pimpin' one of those around at all. The silver ones look like my grandfathers old Crown Vic.
