a 93 mph trap speed in a 4600 lbs vehicle... 347 flywheel horse-20percent drivetrain loss = 277 hp at the wheels... steve...... your numbers are a hair high, by my calculator.

stock 295 flywheel -20 percent is...236 wheel horse... in any case... a 40 horse gain wiht our mods is pretty good i think. i was trapping 93 with no traction.. so i figure maybe i'd get 94-95 with traction..that equals 362 crank horse with a 4500 lb truck ( my truck's lighter, but i'm heavier.. lol so that's my guess) giving me 289 wheel horse...... i dunno how I feel about these calculators.. cause that's a lot to the ground for a stock motor. maybe it's dyno time.

according to the calculator... my weight and flywheel horse i should turn a 14.1..... these calculators are too generic....

although i just punched in 340 crank horse, and 4600 lbs ( realistic for you) and it gives me 14.59....... not too far off, with slicks. hmmm,

They're about 15 miles East of Providence. We're going during business hours next Tuesday. I think it'd be great if you can come. I'm also going to discuss having them do the rest of my engine work.

I'm hoping to have my truck there while you are there. The plan is to drop it off monday. Hey, if one of you are planning to take a buddy along, bring my truck down there for me on tues instead. That would rule. I still don't have a damn loaner car. PM me if you think you can help getting it there. Thanks.

I'd help, but I'm the closest to Seekonk. You're in Exeter?

FWIW got called out in a different thread and re-checked my numbers. I'm actually weighing in around 5400ish. Now there's really no excuse for 15.1. I might go up again Wed.
